Drug Rehab
My daughter developed an addiction to cocaine and alcohol during her second year of college. Determined to get her better I did a thorough search of all the addiction rehabilitation services I could find. I was terrified that she would have an unsuccessful rehab experience that would turn her away from seeking future help and taint her opinion about being able to get healthy. I knew she would have a very difficult time with alcohol detox suffering serious withdrawal systems. I was also very concerned because when she was younger a psychiatrist tested her posited for ADHD and as she grew up she expressed her intensifying feelings of anxiety. I was relieved when I learned that certain drug rehab centers offer dual diagnosis focusing on the patient as an entire complex person opposed to just someone with a single addiction.
